Wasatch Truss Gives Back Through Annual Coats for Kids Program

At Wasatch Truss, supporting the communities we build in has always been just as important as the structures we help create. One of the ways our team lives out that commitment each year is through our ongoing support of the Coats for Kids program. This initiative has become a meaningful annual tradition for our company, and one we are proud to stand behind.

For the past six years, Wasatch Truss has partnered with our local Knights of Columbus chapter to help ensure children in our area stay warm during Utah’s long, cold winters. The mission of Coats for Kids is simple but powerful: no child should have to face winter without a warm coat. Our team strongly believes in that message, and each year we look forward to doing our part to make a difference.

Making a Real Impact for Local Families

This year’s Coats for Kids event was especially impactful. Together with the Knights of Columbus, Wasatch Truss helped distribute more than 200 coats to children in need throughout our local community. In addition to a winter coat, each child also received a pair of gloves and a brand-new beanie, providing extra warmth and comfort during the cold season.

Seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces and knowing families could worry a little less about winter weather is what makes this program so meaningful to our team. Utah winters can be harsh, and for families facing financial hardship, warm winter clothing isn’t always guaranteed. Programs like Coats for Kids help bridge that gap and provide immediate, tangible support where it’s needed most.

Proud to Partner With the Knights of Columbus

Coats for Kids - Wasatch Truss

Coats for Kids is a national charitable initiative led by the Knights of Columbus, with local chapters working directly within their communities. Our local chapter’s goal is to make sure no child in our area goes without proper winter clothing, and Wasatch Truss is honored to support that mission year after year.

Giving back isn’t just something we do once, it’s something we strive to make part of who we are. The Coats for Kids program reflects the values we believe in at Wasatch Truss: community, compassion, and responsibility. We’re grateful for the opportunity to contribute, and we look forward to continuing this tradition in the years ahead.

To everyone who helps make Coats for Kids possible including the volunteers, organizers, and community partners, thank you for helping keep local children warm and safe each winter.
